Refugee REACH team members Celia Reddick and Sarah Dryden-Peterson join Will Brehm, host of the FreshEd podcast, to explore language of instruction in refugee education. This policy issue becomes all the more challenging as periods of displacement grow longer and children often experience the entirety of their school-going in exile. Such tensions have important implications for refugee futures, which are often unknowable.

Within this context, the question of what languages and education best support children’s learning and well-being, now and for unknown futures, is difficult to predict.
